Información del producto

Starting in the village of Sigriswil high above Lake Thun, this rewarding alpine hike leads to one of the lesser-known summits of the Bernese Oberland: the Sigriswiler Rothorn (2051 m).

Leaving the village behind, we first cross quiet farmland before entering deep forest trails. The route quickly feels wilder and more remote, with mossy ground, rocky sections, and a raw mountain atmosphere that sets this hike apart from the region’s more developed tourist routes.

This is not a typical mountain excursion with gondolas or busy viewpoints. It is a genuine hiking adventure through quiet terrain, leading steadily upward toward a summit that feels both hidden and rewarding.

As we gain elevation, the forest gradually opens and the views begin to expand. At the summit of the Sigriswiler Rothorn, we are rewarded with sweeping views over Lake Thun, the Bernese Alps, and the surrounding mountain ranges.

After enjoying the summit panorama, we return to Sigriswil on foot. Like all my tours, this is not a standardized tourism activity but a real private mountain experience. The route remains flexible throughout the day and is thoughtfully adapted to your pace, and the conditions of the day.

This is a hike that feels wild, authentic, and of substance. It is the kind of summit that feels truly earned, and one that most visitors never even know exists.
