Benefit from pick-up at your hotel in Salzburg (or any other location in the city on request), and meet your private driver/guide for an excursion to Hallstatt. Journey along the shores of the emerald-green Fuschlsee to the Schloss Fuschl (Fuschl Castle), and then continue to St. Gilgen to take a stunning photo of the beautiful scenery from a great viewpoint.

Depart St. Gilgen and drive along the shores of Wolfgangsee lake en route to Bad Ischl, famous for its spa and the imperial summer palace. Next, make your way through picturesque Bad Goisern to reach one of the highlights of the tour at the stunning town of Hallstatt, considered the pearl of Austria's Lake District.

Upon arrival in Hallstatt, your guide will point out all the hidden gems and must-see sights. You will have 2.5 hours to explore the town, allowing plenty of time for lunch in one of the lakeside restaurants (own expense). Leave Hallstatt and make your way back to Salzburg via the Gosausee lake, where a backdrop of the glistening Dachstein glacier awaits you for a short stop.

Travel through the Dachstein mountain range, passing the ski resort area from Russbach to Golling before drop-off at your hotel or any location of your choice in Salzburg.
