The show-stopping Dynjandi Waterfall is the first stop of this shore excursion tour. Dynjandi is renowned for its tumbling falls and white veil-like appearance. Multiple falls converge here and dash down the mountain face from an altitude of 100 meters. Walk along the trails here and admire many other smaller falls.
Next we visit a typical working farm, a remote and idyllic farmstead called Gemlufell. Admire the landscape and see the farmyard animals. Meet the famous Icelandic Horse, a small and gentle breed famous for its 5 gaits. Relax in this calming place and enjoy coffee or tea as well as a slice of traditional hjónabandssæla (happy marriage cake), a sweet treat made from oats and rhubarb jam.
