Información del producto

Begin your day with a pickup from your hotel in Reykjavik. Head to Borgarnes for a brief stop on a peninsula above Borgarfjordur. Take in the fjord views, breathe in the fresh air, and stretch your legs before the route heads inland.

Next, visit Deildartunguhver, Europe’s most powerful natural hot spring. Watch as 180 liters of water at 97°C surge from the earth every second. Learn about Iceland’s geothermal energy system and how this spring supplies two towns over 70 kilometers away.

Continue to Reykholt, home of 13th-century scholar Snorri Sturluson, who wrote the Prose Edda and Heimskringla — the texts that preserved Norse mythology and Viking Age history for the world. See his natural hot pool, Snorralaug, which still fills with geothermal water today.

Then, visit Hraunfossar and Barnafoss waterfalls. Watch as hundreds of springs emerge silently from the edge of a 900-year-old lava field and cascade into the Hvita river — with no visible source above ground. Hear the Viking Age legend of Barnafoss from your guide.

Next, head to Husafell village, the gateway to Langjokull glacier. Board a modified monster truck built for glacier terrain and ascend the glacier for the main event: an hour inside ice tunnels drilled through the glacier.

Explore chambers, corridors, and a chapel carved from the ice. Your Into the Glacier specialist guide will lead the underground section. Crampons and helmets are provided. No experience is required.

Finally, return to Reykjavik, with an estimated arrival back in Reykjavik approximately 19:00–19:30.
