Start with pickup from your accommodation in Prague 1, or a meeting point in Prague 1, and head to Germany to visit the famous Bastei Bridge in the Saxon Switzerland National Park. This part is relatively easy. Admire the breathtaking views and then drive through the Elbe Canyon back to the Czech part of the park which is called Bohemian Switzerland National Park.

Depending on the type of the tour you purchase you will then either proceed on a regular tour that visits Pravcicka Brana and does a boat ride on Kamenice River or you will do the easy tour which goes then to Tisa Rocks.

The regular tour is of moderate difficulty. Easy for some, difficult for others, so we call it moderate. 3 km uphill walk to Pravcicka Gate and the same way back. Walk down a long staircase to the river for the boat ride, then climb the same stairs back up. Regular tour typically lasts 11 hours

The easy option goes from Bastei to Tisa Rocks, which is a fairly easy hike for almost anyone who can walk independently. 6 km round hike there. Easy option typically lasts 9 hours.

Both options include lunch. However in different restaurants, of course.

So the regular tour includes Bastei, Pravcicka Gate and Kamenice Gorge with the boat ride.
Easy tour includes Bastei and Tisa Rocks.

  • Know Before You Go: Both options visit Bastei bridge in Germany. Normal one (7:00) then goes to Pravcicka gate and has a boat trip. This version is 12 km long and may be challenging for some. If your fitness level is low, this version is not recommended. The whole trip is 11 hours long

  • Know Before You Go: Easy version (8:00) goes from Bastei bridge to Tisa Rocks. The trail is 4 km long and is suitable even for people with a low level of fitness. This trip is 9 hours long

  • Know Before You Go: Combination of these options is not possible
