Información del producto

Discover four of the most beautiful jewels of the Route des Vins d'Alsace on a carefully paced, small-group excursion in English, shared with a limited number of travelers (maximum 7 people) on board a luxury van with a driver. Designed for lovers of picturesque architecture, history, and fine wines, this afternoon takes you through half-timbered alleys, to a panoramic vantage point steeped in history, and to a wine tasting at a family estate. The commentary and guidance are provided entirely in English.

The afternoon begins with a short trip to Eguisheim, voted France's Favorite Village and the birthplace of Pope Leo IX. You'll discover its unique concentric streets, surrounded by flower-filled ramparts and half-timbered houses.

A scenic route along the Route des Vins d'Alsace then takes you to Kaysersberg, a medieval town dominated by the ruins of its castle and the birthplace of Nobel Peace Prize winner Albert Schweitzer. You will stroll through the historic center, cross the 16th-century fortified bridge, and enjoy the views along the Weiss.

On the way to Riquewihr, a brief stop at the Sigolsheim National Cemetery offers panoramic views of the vineyards of the Kaysersberg Valley – a memorable pause at this hilltop memorial site.

The afternoon ends in Riquewihr, an open-air museum with medieval walls and Renaissance facades. You'll enjoy a tour of the village followed by a wine tasting at a family estate, where you'll discover the iconic grape varieties of Alsace — Riesling, Gewurztraminer, and Pinot Gris.

The small-group format ensures a more intimate and personalized experience than a tour on a large coach, with more flexibility and attention given to each traveler.
