In this relaxed and fun session, you’ll learn the fundamental techniques of hand-building, such as pinching, coiling and slab building. This class is perfect for complete beginners or anyone looking to explore their creativity with clay. We’ll guide you through the process step by step, from shaping your mug to adding unique textures and details. This class is a great way to try pottery before committing to a longer course. All materials and tools are provided. If you’d like to keep your piece, we’d be happy to fire and glaze it for you (£10 extra per piece).
We are trying to be as environmentally friendly as we can and clay can be only recycled prior firing not after. So if you just want to experiment with clay and are not too keen on keeping your first creation please let us know and we can then recycle your piece
