On the approximately 120-minute city tour, you will discover five central locations in the city's Roman history with the help of VR glasses. Each stop brings you closer to life in antiquity: from the origins of Trier, to the construction of monumental buildings, to an encounter with a Roman emperor.

An experienced tour guide accompanies you through time and space, explains what you see, and enriches the tour with exciting facts, stories, and surprising details. This way, history is not only visible – it comes alive.

The guided tour begins and ends in the historic Frankenturm near the Central Market.

  • Know Before You Go: The VR tour is suitable for youths aged 13 and over accompanied by an adult (please bring proof of age). During the walking tour, the duty of supervision lies with the accompanying parents, teachers or legal guardians – they are also responsible for any damage caused by underage participants.

  • Know Before You Go: In the event of rain at the start or foreseeable rain during the approximately two-hour tour, the guided tour will be conducted in an adapted form in the Frankenturm. Please note that it is unfortunately not possible to return the tickets in this case.

We ask that you handle the equipment with care – in the event of improper or willful use, the participant is liable for any damage incurred. The devices are checked after use.
