"Listen, people, and let me tell you..." - In the late hours, the night watchman lights his lantern. His path leads through secluded places, through the streets and alleys, past the most beautiful landmarks of the old town of Leipzig. If the hustle and bustle quietens down, your guide – in historical costume with a lantern and halberd – will share exciting and curious stories from Leipzig's past. Hear interesting stories about famous celebrities including Goethe, Schiller, and the infamous Mayor Romanus. This is one of the most popular tours through downtown Leipzig. This historical figure is now a permanent feature of the nocturnal cityscape.
