Experience Ladenburg: Our excursion to half-timbered houses, charm and history

Ladenburg – the charming hidden gem in the Rhine-Neckar district – combines living history, automotive culture and romantic flair right on the banks of the Neckar. The town's showpiece is its listed Old Town: over 120 magnificent half-timbered houses, winding alleyways and idyllic little squares invite you to explore together and enjoy a leisurely stroll.

Our excursion starts in a relaxed manner: We travel from Heidelberg to Ladenburg in a comfortable, air-conditioned van. An inspiring city walking tour awaits us there. Walking along the imposing city wall and past beautifully preserved half-timbered facades, we will experience the city's fascinating history up close. Of course, our route also takes us through the historic market square, the vibrant heart of Ladenburg, where we will pay a visit to the famous "town goat."

Afterward, we will round off the day according to your tastes. There are two exciting cultural highlights to choose from: a visit to the traditional Lobdengau Museum with its impressive Roman exhibits, or an exploratory tour of the Dr. Carl Benz Automotive Museum, which, with its elegant vintage cars, makes the hearts of car enthusiasts beat faster.
