After a short briefing at our office, we will set off on our quads and head to a local village, a place where time still flows to the rhythm of nature and traditions.
Here we can discover how the population really lives: the hand-built mud houses with Makuti roofs, the genuine smiles, the everyday activities. The children will welcome us with enthusiasm, and it will be impossible not to get caught up in their games and their infectious joy.
Together with the women of the village, we will be able to help prepare their typical lunch, a unique opportunity to learn about the flavors, gestures, and rituals that have been part of Kenyan culture for generations.
We will help prepare their typical dishes including: Ugali (the typical white corn polenta), Nyama Choma (grilled meat), Githeri (corn and bean stew), Chapati (soft flatbread used as a side dish), Mchicha (African spinach), Pilau (spiced rice with meat and vegetables), Samaki wa kupaka (fish cooked in coconut sauce), and fresh seasonal fruit (mango, bananas, pineapple), ending with the wonderfully fragrant Kenyan coffee.
It is an experience that combines adventure, authenticity, and sharing: a new way to experience the true essence of this land and return home with a heart full of emotions.
Before departure, we will discuss any dietary requirements, including any allergies or intolerances, and together we will decide on the menu so that we can organize the groceries to take to the families.
In addition, a “safety car” will follow us to handle any needs or unforeseen events.
