Discover some of the main attractions of Marajó Island on an experience that combines culture, history, nature, and beautiful Amazonian landscapes. This itinerary is ideal for those who want to explore the municipality of Soure in an organized way, with a local guide and transportation throughout the activity.

The tour starts at the Soure Waterway Terminal, the meeting point for participants. From there, we will proceed on a city tour of the main points of interest in the city, learning about aspects of Marajoara culture, its history, crafts, and traditions that make the region one of the most authentic destinations in the Amazon.

Next, we will visit Barra Velha Beach, one of the most famous on the island. With a unique landscape where the Amazonian waters meet the Atlantic Ocean, the beach is perfect for relaxing, walking on the sand, enjoying nature, and taking beautiful photographs. During the visit, there will be free time for swimming, contemplation, and leisure. You can also take pictures with buffalo on the beach, an optional activity offered by local providers and not included in the price.

Throughout the itinerary, you will come into contact with the rich culture of Marajó, its natural landscapes, and the local way of life, providing an authentic and memorable experience.

At the end of the activity, the guide will accompany the participants to the Soure Waterway Terminal to board the return speedboat.

Important information about the Belém–Soure trip

Waterway tickets between Belém and Soure are not included in the price of this activity and must be purchased separately by the traveler.

To participate in the tour, it is mandatory to board the 6:30 AM Master Motors speedboat, departing from the Luiz Rebelo Neto Waterway Terminal in Belém. This vessel makes the direct journey to Soure and arrives at a time compatible with the start of the activity.

The return to Belém must be made on the 3:00 PM speedboat, departing from the Soure Waterway Terminal. For this reason, the tour ends at 2:00 PM, allowing participants to board with no rush.

Participants who use other departure times may not arrive in time for the start of the activity and miss the tour, with no refund.
