Tortuguero: Canoe Sightseeing Tour, Daytime Hike and Turtle Sightseeing Tour｜Costa Rica

The first activity is a sightseeing tour to see the spawning of the Green Turtle. For this
activity, there are 2 time slots: the first is from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM and the second is from 10:00 PM to 12:00 AM. These times are chosen by the national park in an electronic lottery, so to find out what time you have been assigned, you have to go to the Tuanis Sightseeing Tour office located 50 meters south of the main pier in Tortuguero between 5 pm and 6 pm, and there you will be given the details of the time assigned to you. For this activity, it is very important to wear dark clothing, closed shoes, and mosquito repellent. In case of rain, you must bring a raincoat. In addition, all technological devices are prohibited.

The second activity is the canoe sightseeing tour. This activity starts at 6 AM, but you have to be there 10 minutes early because there is a small snack consisting of coffee or tea, cookies, and fruit. This activity has an average duration of 2 hours and 45 minutes and is for seeing animals such as alligators, iguanas, birds and some mammals.

After the canoeing tour, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast at our office.

The third activity is a hike in the national park on the Jaguar Trail. This activity begins at 11:00 AM and lasts for 2 hours. In this activity, it is very common to see white-faced monkeys, snakes, birds, and sloths.

You can do all the activities on the same day, or the other option is to take the turtle sightseeing tour the first night and the next day take the canoe tour at 6:00 AM and then the hike in the National Park at 11:00 AM.
