Product Info

Discover the incredible diversity of birds on the Osa Peninsula in an experience designed for those who want to observe wildlife in its natural habitat. The adventure starts early in Puerto Jiménez, from where you'll travel to the Tigre River area, one of the best places in Costa Rica for birdwatching.

Accompanied by a local guide who is an expert in birdwatching, you'll travel to different strategic points by vehicle and make stops where the conditions are ideal for birdwatching. During the morning, you'll have the opportunity to look for iconic species such as scarlet tanagers, toucans, trogons, motmots, tanagers, hawks, hummingbirds, woodpeckers, and many other birds typical of the tropical forests of the Osa Peninsula.

The tour is conducted in small groups of no more than six participants, allowing more time to observe and photograph the species. Your tour guide will share information about the behavior, habitat, and characteristics of each bird, as well as help you spot them using professional birdwatching gear.

The experience includes transportation from Puerto Jiménez, a bilingual naturalist guide, coffee, fresh fruit, and a typical Costa Rican breakfast at the end of the activity. This is an ideal excursion for both experienced birdwatchers and those who want to discover the extraordinary biodiversity of the Osa Peninsula in a tranquil, authentic, and personalized way.
