Product Info

Join a biologist-led eco-tour at ANURA, a 3.8-hectare ecological refuge just minutes from La Fortuna. Walk comfortable, well-kept trails through restored forest, lagoons, and edge habitats where active restoration is bringing wildlife back.

Explore secondary forest, wetlands, and lakeside edges while your biologist explains local ecology and restoration methods. Search for frogs (including red frogs), colorful insects, reptiles, birds, and occasional small mammals in their natural settings.

Visit ponds and lagoons where fish and caimans can sometimes be seen from safe viewpoints. Learn about native plants, including medicinal species, under your guide’s supervision.

Receive practical tips for ethical wildlife photography and how to observe without impacting the habitat.
