Product Info

In the 19th century, Buenos Aires went from being a remote village to an eclectic metropolis. This development is still visible downtown today: dreams and crises, diversity and constant change have shaped the cityscape over the decades. Along the most important landmarks, we get an overview, immerse ourselves in the city's history, and try to solve the mystery of Argentine identity.

Along the way, you'll experience the Parisian flair of Avenida de Mayo, get to know the majestic Palacio Barolo from the inside, and visit historic places such as Plaza de Mayo (the site where the city was founded).

On Florida Street, you will feel the magic of the "Microcentro", see the "Corner of the Five Domes", and learn all about the famous "Arbolitos" (the money changers).

On Avenida Corrientes (Argentina's Broadway), you will learn more about the "Golden Age" of tango and have the opportunity to take a look inside one of the city's most beautiful coffeehouses. At the Obelisk, you will learn how Buenos Aires became a modern metropolis in the 20th century.

In Retiro, you will experience the elegant façades of the old palaces, learn all about Argentina's former wealth, and feel the splendor of the "Belle Époque."
