Come join us in Windhoek for a relaxed and personal African cooking experience in a real home setting.
This is not just a class—it’s a chance to cook, share stories, and experience everyday African life through food. Together, we will prepare traditional dishes from Namibia, Congo (DR), and Angola, using recipes that have been passed down in the family.
During the experience, you’ll be guided step by step as we cook a variety of dishes depending on the day. This can include things like fresh fish with African spinach, cassava leaves (lengalega), pap, sweet potatoes, traditional sauces, fat cakes, and more. Sometimes we also prepare a Namibian braai.
There’s no pressure or strict structure—just a friendly, welcoming atmosphere where you can learn, ask questions, and enjoy the process.
Once everything is ready, we sit down together and enjoy the meal we’ve cooked. It’s a great moment to connect, laugh, and experience true African hospitality.
Guests make their own way to the meeting point in Windhoek. Pickup and drop-off within Windhoek can also be arranged on request for an additional fee.
If you have any dietary needs (vegetarian, allergies, etc.), just let us know in advance—we’re happy to adjust.
Whether you’re visiting Namibia or living here, this experience gives you a real taste of African culture beyond restaurants.
