Nouakchott: 6-Day Sightseeing Tour of Chinguetti and Atar｜Mauritania

Your adventure begins in Nouakchott, where we will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your accommodation. From the capital, you'll set off on a tour through the interior of Mauritania to discover some of the most iconic places in the desert and get to know local life and culture up close.

During the trip, you'll visit Chinguetti, one of the most important historical cities in Mauritania, known for its heritage, traditional architecture, and its connection to the ancient trade routes of the Sahara. You will have time to explore the city and discover its desert surroundings.

The tour continues to Atar, from where you can explore the landscapes of the Adrar and enjoy the nature of the desert. The trip's experiences include a visit to the Eye of the Sahara (Richat Structure), one of the most unique geological formations in Mauritania, as well as a visit to an oasis, where you can experience a completely different environment within the desert landscape.

Along the way, you will travel with a driver, with vehicle and fuel included, enjoying a trip designed to discover Mauritania in a close and relaxed way. You will also have accommodation and meals during the different stages of the tour.

The trip will end in Nouakchott, where you will spend the last night before the transfer back to the airport. Airport arrival and departure transportation is included in the activity.
