Start your adventure with an early morning at the meeting point in the center of Almaty at 5:00 AM. Travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle towards the famous Sharyn Canyon, located about 2.5 hours away. Upon arrival, explore the incredible “Valley of Castles,” named for its impressive rock formations that resemble ancient fortresses.

Spend around 1.5 hours walking through the canyon, taking in the stunning views and learning from your guide about the geological history and local legends of this awe-inspiring natural site. Next, head to the Kolsai Lakes region. After a scenic 1.5-hour drive, arrive at Kolsai Lake 1, one of the most picturesque spots in Kazakhstan.

Surrounded by dense fir forests and snow-capped peaks, Kolsai Lake is perfect for a relaxing walk along the shore. Enjoy approximately 1 hour here, where you can admire the clear waters and peaceful environment. From Kolsai, continue your journey with a 30-minute off-road drive to the breathtaking Kaindy Lake.

This alpine lake is famous for its submerged forest of sunken trees that rise eerily from the turquoise waters. Spend an hour exploring the lake, taking photos, and learning about its creation from a landslide over 100 years ago. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the lake, surrounded by tranquil nature and fresh mountain air.
