Nestled at an elevation of 677 meters above sea level, Amedzofe is the highest inhabited settlement in Ghana. Surrounded by rolling hills and rich vegetation, the town offers a refreshing mountain atmosphere and a fascinating history. Once home to German settlers for over 40 years, Amedzofe still bears traces of its colonial past.

Continue your adventure to the Ote Falls Canopy Walk, where you will experience a thrilling walk suspended above the forest canopy. The canopy provides breathtaking views of the waterfall.
Later, journey to the sacred grove of Tafi Atome, home to the famous Mona Monkeys. Discover over 200 years of peaceful coexistence between the local community and these playful primates, which were traditionally regarded as sacred messengers of the Gods.
Learn about the community's conservation efforts that have helped preserve both the monkey population and the surrounding forest ecosystem, which is rich in birds, butterflies, and indigenous plant species.

After the tour, check into your accommodation and enjoy a relaxing evening in the Volta Region.
