From Guilin: Longji Rice Terraces, Huangluo & Ping’an｜China

Begin your day with pickup from your hotel in central Guilin between approximately 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM. Travel for around 2 hours in an air-conditioned vehicle to the Longji Rice Terraces.

Your English-speaking driver-guide will assist you throughout the journey and share information about the villages, terraces, and local traditions.

Start at Huangluo Yao Village, known for its traditional wooden houses and local Yao culture. Spend approximately 2 hours exploring the village, learning about local customs, and trying on traditional Yao clothing. You can take your own photos during the costume experience.

Stop for lunch in Huangluo Yao Village. Lunch is not included and usually costs approximately CNY 80–120 per person. Your driver-guide can help you choose and order local dishes.

Continue to Ping’an Village and explore the surrounding Longji Rice Terraces. Walk for approximately 2–3 hours along village paths, stone steps, and mountain trails while enjoying panoramic views across the terraces.

An optional scenic-area shuttle is available for approximately CNY 55 per person. An optional cultural performance in Huangluo may also be available for approximately CNY 80 per person. Both activities are voluntary and can be decided on the day.

Leave Longji in the late afternoon and return to your hotel in Guilin at approximately 6:00 PM–6:30 PM.
