The next destination will be Jade Buddha Temple, which was built in Qing Dynasty. It is one of the most famous Buddhist Temples in Shanghai. There are two jade Buddha statues (one sitting and one reclining) imported to Shanghai from Burma by sea. Admire the mesmerizing architecture in the temple, while your guide explains the history of the construction and the background stories. After Shanghai local Shengjian dumpling lunch, you will visit Shanghai Tower for bird’s-eye city views which is the highest building in China and the second highest in the world.
