Product Info

Walk around Lake Hokuryu. A light snowshoe tour. Walk around the shore of the mystical Lake Hokuryu located in the mountains. Approximately 2.5 km around from the parking lot on the shore of Lake Hokuryu. As it is a light walking course around the lake, it is recommended for those who are trying snowshoeing for the first time or those who are not confident in their physical strength. From the opposite shore, you can see Mt. Myoko if the weather is good. After the walk... Nearby are Nozawa Onsen and the Yutaki Onsen day-trip bathing facility along the Chikuma River. After the tour, you can warm up your cold body. *Bathing is optional. Please bear your own transportation costs. *Bathing may not be available due to private bookings or regular holidays.
Snowshoe and pole rental included!
Leave the special equipment to us! Snowshoes and poles are included in the tour price, so as long as you have snow country attire, you can just show up empty-handed!! If you are worried because you only have non-insulated boots or do not have snow boots, you can rent snow boots by applying in advance. Please let us know your size when booking.
Easy Snowshoeing
Don't worry if you are not confident in your physical strength. You will walk on a road that is closed in winter, with no obstacles. Of course, there are also places where you can walk on fluffy fresh snow after a snowfall!
Completely Private Tour
