Product Info

Day 01: Kochi – Periyar (Thekkady) Approx. 160 km / 4–5 Hours
After breakfast or upon arrival at Kochi Airport/Railway Station, proceed to Periyar, located in the hills of Thekkady. Enjoy the scenic drive through the countryside, rubber plantations, and spice plantations. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel or resort.
Enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake, with opportunities to spot elephants, sambar deer, wild boars, and various bird species along the shoreline.
Visit a spice plantation and learn about Kerala’s spices, including cardamom, pepper, and cloves.
Optional evening activities include a Kathakali dance performance or Kalaripayattu martial arts show. Overnight stay in Periyar.

Day 02: Periyar – Alleppey Approx. 140 km / 4 Hours
After breakfast, drive to Alleppey (Alappuzha), often referred to as the “Venice of the East.” Upon arrival, board your traditional Kerala houseboat (Kettuvallam) around noon.
Enjoy a welcome drink as the houseboat cruises through canals, lagoons, and backwaters.
Houseboat Experience:
Cruise through narrow canals lined with coconut palms and green paddy fields.
Observe local village life, including traditional fishing activities and daily life along the waterways.
Enjoy an authentic Kerala-style lunch served on board.
Relax on the sundeck and enjoy the sunset views over the backwaters.
Dinner and overnight stay on the houseboat.

Day 03: Alleppey – Kochi Departure
Wake up to the sounds of the surrounding waterways and enjoy breakfast on the deck as the boat begins its morning cruise.
After check-out around 9:00 AM, disembark from the houseboat.
Drive back to Kochi for your onward journey.
