Product Info

Begin your journey at Chattar Manzil, the iconic palace with its striking umbrella-shaped dome. Once a royal residence of the Nawabs of Awadh, it beautifully blends Indo-European architectural styles.

Next, visit Farhat Bakhsh, meaning “Bestower of Delight.” Built by Nawab Saadat Ali Khan, it stands on the banks of the Gomti River and reflects the grandeur of Awadhi royal life.

Continue to Jarnail Kothi, a colonial-era building once used by the British generals. It gives insight into the strategic and administrative setup during British rule.

Proceed to Lal Baradari, the “Red Pavilion,” which served as the coronation hall for Nawab Wajid Ali Shah. Its red stone structure and intricate interiors reflect royal opulence.

Next, visit Gulistan-e-Eram, meaning “Garden of Paradise.” It was a pleasure garden and palace complex that once echoed with music and poetry under the Nawabi era.

Continue to Darshan Vilas Kothi, a fine colonial mansion that showcases a blend of European and Mughal aesthetics. It reflects Lucknow’s cosmopolitan architectural spirit.

Next, visit the twin domed mausoleums of Nawab Saadat Ali Khan and his queen, Khurshid Zadi. These graceful structures represent the refined Indo-Islamic architecture of the early 19th century.

Conclude your walk at the magnificent Kaiserbagh Complex, built by Nawab Wajid Ali Shah. Once described as one of the most beautiful palace complexes in India, it was the last great architectural project of the Nawabs of Awadh, symbolizing their artistic and cultural zenith.
