  • This is a farming experience event in Midori-ku, Chiba City, featuring activities such as harvesting, rice planting, and rice reaping. A veteran farmer with 12 years of experience in hosting farming events provides a satisfying experience regardless of the weather or season. Beyond just harvesting or rice reaping, we will cook rice using a hagama pot and firewood, prepare soup or miso soup with the harvested produce in an outdoor-style setting with everyone, and sometimes hold life-changing 'omusubi (rice ball) making' workshops. Regarding the cancellation of the event:

  • In case of heavy rain, snow, typhoons, etc., the event will generally be canceled. However, in case of light rain, the event will be held (please bring your own rain gear such as a raincoat). If the event is held in case of light rain, there will be no cancellation fee if you contact us in advance, even on the day of the event. In case of no-show, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.

Important notes regarding course participation:

  • - If you are late, you may not be able to participate. - Children under elementary school age must be accompanied by a guardian. - During the experience, sickles and knives will be used for cooking, and although staff will take all necessary precautions, injuries are the participant's own responsibility.

  • The price includes the experience fee, lunch ingredients, equipment usage fees (rice cooker, firewood, spatula), consumption tax, lecture fee, and the cost of plates, chopsticks, and bowls.
  • Parking fees, toilet usage fees, and other charges are all free.

Reminders

  • Ages of participation: 1 to 75 years old

  • Clothing and belongings: Wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, shoes (rain boots recommended), a change of clothes, a towel, water (at least 2 liters per person in summer, at least 1 liter in other seasons), a hat, work gloves, and sun protection or heatstroke prevention measures (if necessary).

* **By Car:** Approximately 15 minutes from Nakano IC on the Togane Toll Road. * **Parking:** 8 cars, large buses: not permitted (microbuses allowed). * **By Train:** Approximately 15-20 minutes on foot from the north exit of Toke Station on the JR Sotobo Line.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 8 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • For cancellations made 3 to 7 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 20% will apply
  • For cancellations made 2 to 2 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 30% will apply
  • For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 50% will apply
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
