Jump on with your partner or a friend and have a ball cruising around the Wellington Waterfront or for a longer journey ride the bays around to the Chocolate Fish Cafe at Shelly Bay or follow the bike lanes to Lyall Bay.

Who will be the 'captain' and who will be the 'stoker'?

If you're good riders you could ride all the way around the bays and then back via Happy Valley Rd to Brooklyn.

If you'd like to take in the best visitor attractions of Wellington while riding, we recommend upgrading to a full-day hire so you have the time to visit attractions such as Zealandia Sanctuary, Te Papa Museum and Weta Workshop- arrive in style!

We're centrally located only a 10min walk from the Wellington iSite (visitor's information center) and 10 min from Te Papa Museum (NZ's national Museum).

Your bike comes with helmets, a lock and a cycle map of the city- plus our top picks of places to stop on your ride if you're a visitor to Wellington. We have a large car-free space to get your riding and provide a pre-ride briefing.
