The Three Falls Circuit and Tall Trees Walk form a loop in the low-altitude rainforest area of Mount Field National Park. This 6km loop trail is relatively flat and covers the park's highlights: Russell Falls, Horseshoe Falls, Lady Barron Falls, and the Tall Trees Walk. Depending on the day's schedule, you can choose to visit one waterfall, two, or complete the entire circuit!
We first head to Russell Falls, famous for its three-tiered drop and known as Tasmania's most iconic waterfall. Stroll along beautiful forest paths through mixed forests and temperate rainforests—it is an easy and enjoyable walk. Russell Falls is the most popular waterfall among photographers in Tasmania; we will enjoy the magnificent scenery here before continuing on.
After passing Russell Falls, we will head to Horseshoe Falls. Then, continue along the Three Falls Circuit into the area known as the Tall Trees Walk. Towering above us are giant eucalyptus trees reaching about 80 meters in height, which are the world's tallest flowering plants. From here, guests with plenty of energy can choose to continue to Lady Barron Falls to complete the full circuit, or opt to return to the starting point.
In the afternoon, head to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can encounter a variety of native wildlife. Led by sanctuary staff, take an informative wildlife tour to learn about the habits of Tasmanian animals.
The final stop is the Mount Wellington observation deck for a panoramic view of downtown Hobart. There is usually 15 to 30 minutes of free time at the summit (the duration of the stay at the summit usually depends on the weather conditions of the day).
Expected return to Hobart for dismissal at 17:30

  • This tour requires a minimum of 4 participants. If the minimum number is not reached, we will contact you 2 days in advance to cancel your booking.

  • Please bring only one piece of carry-on luggage/daily backpack with you on the trip. Luggage is not permitted on the tour.

  • We recommend wearing lightweight and comfortable clothing and walking shoes suitable for the trip.

  • If you are unable to participate in the tour or withdraw from any part of the tour due to personal reasons (lack of travel documents, flight delays, lateness, illness, accidents, etc.), the tour fee will not be refunded and no other compensation will be provided.

  • No changes or refunds will be issued for participants who are late or absent.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 5 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–4 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.

  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy.
