This historical tour of the Old downtown of Alexandria, named as such due to being founded by Alexander the Great in 332 B. C, will let you have a chance to encounter the less visited, not as common must see spots, that other regular itineraries won't give you the chance to: a panoramic view of the old eastern city harbor, Saint Mark Cathedral's hidden galleries that not many know about, the biggest and oldest mosque in the city plus an optional local food experience.

From there, moving to the Roman Amphitheater, dating back to 3rd century A. D., a complete Roman community. The car will whisk you off to a quick visit to the biggest Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in the city. (Saint Marks). You will be driven then to the Library of Alexandria.
