Información del producto

-What you can expect-
Embarking on a journey of history and awe-inspiring natural beauty, your first visit will be the Arch of Charents, a monument viewpoint providing a panoramic view of the biblical Mt.Ararat. The following destination is the Pagan Temple of Garni, noted as the only standing Hellenistic pagan temple in the Caucasus region.

Venture onward to experience the Symphony of Stones, a natural phenomenon. Having marvelled at this sight, you'll move on to explore Geghard Monastery, or Ayrivank, an architectural masterpiece carved into the heart of a rock. This sanctuary, dating back from the 4th to 10th centuries of the Armenian Renaissance, is steeped in religious and historical significance. It forms part of the UNESCO World Heritage sites alongside the Upper Azat Valley.

Your voyage progresses to Lake Sevan, considered the second-largest high-altitude freshwater lake globally. Here lies Sevanavank Monastery, constructed in the 9th century and hosting one of the remaining four Amenaprkich Khachkars. Journey northward to Dilijan town, affectionately known as 'little Switzerland', nestled amid verdant forests and towering mountains. Bask in the tranquillity of Haghartsin Monastery, an architectural jewel hidden within a serene hillside forest, before concluding your experience at Goshavank Monastery. Known for its medieval school and scholars, Goshavank completes your immersive exploration into Armenia's past.
