Walk past abandoned houses reminding you of the ancient times and stroll through the fields full of flowers in the springtime and high grass during summer. The olive trees will offer you some shade to take a sip of water and the sound of the goat bells will lead the way.

Reach a chapel below Menetes, where you'll take a break in the shade and enjoy a fresh cup of locally-made herbal tea. Enter the chapel to see how the locals pray and listen to the fascinating history of this place. Leaving the chapel, you'll head into the sometimes slightly wet river bed. Hundreds of years old olive trees and fossilized shells await you at the end of the walk.
