As you stroll, learn about D.C.’s growth post-War of 1812, then visit the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial. Cross the Kutz Bridge and take in views of the Potomac River and the Thomas Jefferson Memorial.

At the National Mall, marvel at the Washington Monument and learn about George Washington's connection to the city. Museum lovers will enjoy passing the National Museum of African American History, the Smithsonian Museums, and the National Gallery of Art.

The tour ends at the Library of Congress, Capitol Building, and Supreme Court—three of the most crucial structures in the city.
