One day in Polignano a Mare is the perfect tour to fully experience the town, discover its most picturesque views, and enjoy an authentic taste of its culture and traditions.

The first experience is the street food tour. Stroll through the charming alleys of the old town, breathe in the Mediterranean atmosphere, admire the stunning terraces overlooking the sea, and capture the picturesque corners of the mediaeval town, including the painted phrases, Chiesa Matrice, and Piazza dell’Orologio. Get ready to taste the typical local specialities that have made Polignano a Mare and Puglia famous worldwide, such as panzerotto and focaccia. The street food tour lasts approximately 2.5 hours. After the food experience, the tuk tuk will take you to hidden gems you might not otherwise reach, including Cala Sala, also known as Port’Alga.

The tour continues with a boat tour of the caves departing from San Vito, a hamlet of Polignano a Mare. Admire the dramatic cliffs overlooking the Adriatic Sea and experience the town from a unique perspective. The boat tour starts at 2:00pm, lasts 1.5 hours, and includes an aperitif and a swimming stop. At the end of the tour, you’ll be returned to the centre of Polignano a Mare.
