Struggling to fit all of Krakow's must-see spots into your schedule? This tour allows you to explore two of Poland's most significant UNESCO World Heritage sites - Auschwitz-Birkenau and Wieliczka Salt Mine - in a single day. Your adventure begins early, ensuring you can make the most of your time. To keep your energy levels up, you'll enjoy a tasty packed lunch featuring Polish delicacies.

On the way to Auschwitz I, you'll have the opportunity to watch an informative documentary about the history of concentration camps in Poland. Once there, you'll join a tour led by a certified museum guide for approximately two hours. Following this, a short transfer takes you to Auschwitz II – Birkenau, located just 2 km away. Here, you'll spend around an hour exploring with the same guide.

The second part of your day involves a trip to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, one of the world's oldest operational salt mines that has been producing table salt for over seven centuries. You'll embark on a 2.5-hour guided tour that takes you up to 140 metres underground covering a tourist route spanning over 2.5 kilometres, filled with chambers boasting incredible carvings and statues, all made from salt.

If this happens, you will be informed and if possible, offered an alternative date or program

  • All visitors are required to pass through security checks before entering the museum grounds

  • The temperature in the salt mine is approximately 14 degrees C (57 degrees F), please wear warm clothes

  • You'll be picked up from your accommodation in Krakow. Please provide the name and address of your hotel at checkout

  • The maximum size of bags and backpacks allowed in the museum is 30 x 20 x 10 cm. You can always leave your belongings in the bus

  • Please note that to reach the first level of the mine (64 meters underground), you must descend a wooden stairway that has 378 steps. After the tour, you will be taken up to the surface with a lift

  • Remember to bring:A valid ID or passport

  • Comfortable shoes

  • An extra jacket
