Our strategic departure directly from the historic Appian Way (Via Appia Antica) eliminates the long and tiring E-Bike ride through central Rome traffic. This ensures a safer, optimized experience focused exclusively on the history, ruins, and nature of the archaeological parks.

After collecting your E-Bike, your expert local guide will lead you along the millenary Regina Viarum (Appian Way), lined with ancient tombs and majestic umbrella pines.

E-Bike Tour Highlights:

Aqueduct Park: Witness Roman engineering up close by observing the impressive Aqua Claudia and the monumental arches that dominate the landscape.

Mausoleum of Cecilia Metella: VR Time Travel (Included): The tour's climax! Visit the Mausoleum, the Appia's signature monument, and use a Virtual Reality (VR) viewer. You will relive the Mausoleum and the Caetani Castle as they appeared 2,000 years ago, providing an unparalleled historical perspective.

Roman Countryside: Enjoy the serenity of the historic parks (such as Caffarella and Tor Fiscale). Cycling through the Roman Countryside offers a breathtaking contrast to the city's hustle.

  • Know Before You Go: Riding Environment: The route is almost entirely traffic-free. Only two brief crossings on roads open to light traffic are necessary (to access the Aqueduct and Caffarella Parks)

  • Know Before You Go: Children Policy: Infants (under 20kg/44 lbs) travel free in a child seat. Children (under 139cm/4ft 7in) must use a trailer bike. Children must be at least 12 years old to operate their own E-Bike
