From Almuñécar: Granada Day Trip with Alhambra and Cathedral｜Spain

Please note! Summer changes. I've created a new route in Granada due to the heat. We're now traveling on shaded roads from the Alhambra and through the Albaicin. We're also using special city buses. However, it's impossible to completely avoid the heat; remember to bring a hat and sunscreen.

Take a day trip to Granada from Almuñécar, Costa Tropical. Enjoy an author-led walking tour of the remarkable sites of the Albaicin, Sacromonte, and the city center. Visit the cathedral and the Royal Chapel. Explore the Alhambra at your own pace. Tickets to the Alhambra are limited, personal, and non-refundable. Everyone must purchase their own tickets. I'll help you with the purchase. You can also visit the Alhambra without tickets.

Be picked up from your hotel in Almuñécar, Salobreña, La Herradura, or Nerja. Travel to Granada by car and take a walk through the city center, visiting the cathedral and the Royal Chapel.

Stroll through the Albaicin and Sacromonte neighborhoods. Enjoy free time in the center of Granada. Visit the Alhambra and the Generalife Gardens at your own pace.

We travel in small groups; the itinerary is flexible, and we tailor the walk to the participants’ preferences and abilities. On more challenging or longer stretches, we may use public transport.
