It comprehensively exhibits everything from renowned Kutani artifacts and treasures passed down through generations of the Maeda family of the Kaga Domain to Japanese paintings, Western paintings, sculptures, and crafts primarily created by Ishikawa artists. Among them, the National Treasure "Iroekijikoro" (Iroeki Pheasant Incense Burner) by Jinsei Nonomura is a must-see. Visitors can also experience the exquisite craftsmanship of artisans up close with daimyo tools made in Kaga maki-e style and traditional crafts that are Living National Treasures. The entrance hall features a café curated by renowned pastry chef Hiroki Tsujiguchi, originally from Nanao, where you can enjoy specialty desserts made with local Ishikawa ingredients, making it an ideal spot for a cultural stroll around Kenrokuen Garden.

It's about a 5-minute walk from there. By Car: Take the Hokuriku Expressway to Kanazawa West IC or Kanazawa Morimoto IC exit. It's about a 20-30 minute drive (free parking is available on-site).
