Mt Inasa Slope Car
The Mt. Inasa Slope Car is a unique, modern transportation system that connects the base of Mt. Inasa to its summit, offering visitors a stylish and efficient way to reach one of Japan’s most famous observation points. From the upper station, it’s a short walk to the observation deck, where visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of Nagasaki, including its famed “10 million dollar night view,” ranked among the top three nightscapes in Japan.
Nagasaki Peace Park
In Nagasaki Peace Park there is a statue symbolizes the love of God and the mercy of Buddha, wishing for the spirit of the atomic bomb victims and eternal peace. It said that the right hand pointing to heaven, and the left hand shows "peace" (for the future of Nagasaki). The face is neither a god nor a Buddha but a lightly closed eyes and quietly praying over the religion over the relief of the souls of the war victims of 70,000 abundant war victims.
Atomic Bomb Museum
The history of the atomic bombing, including the tragedy, the state of Nagasaki's reconstruction, the history of nuclear weapons development, and the desire for peace without nuclear weapons are displayed in an easy-to-understand way in this museum.
Megane Bridge
This Meganebashi Bridge, which was erected by Mozi Ruding Zen Master of Kofukuji Temple in 1634, is famous as Japan's first arched stone bridge with a length of 22m, a width of 3.65m, and a height of 5.46m to the river surface.
China Town
Nagasaki Shinchi Chinatown is the oldest Chinatown in Japan and one of the country’s three major Chinatowns, alongside those in Yokohama and Kobe. The district covers about a city block and is filled with approximately 250 shops and restaurants, offering a wide variety of Chinese cuisine, sweets, and goods. The main attractions are its colorful streets lined with eateries specializing in local specialties like champon and sara udon. Kakuni manju and other dim sum are also popular.
