8.00-8.30am Bus and our experience tour guide pick you up at your hotel in Cat Ba town.
9.00-11.30am Arrive National Park gate, take entrance fee and start trekking. On the trail through the tropical forest you will be submerged in nature and will see some mammals such as mink, squirrel, monkey, bird and many butterflies, especially if you are lucky you will see species yellow-headed langurs, one of the rarest animals are listed in Red Book, climb over 3 mountains named locally as: "Ang Vat, May Bau, Ang Phay"
11.30am In after 2.5 hours trekking with distance about 6 km, you will stop at the frog pond This is the largest freshwater lake in the middle of the National forest. From frog pond's bottom, reaching up thousands of "Va Nuoc" trees, the species is only found in the Frog ponds not anywhere else in Cat Ba island. There are many types of fish and crabs in the pond, take a rest 30 minutes here.
12.00-13.00pm Continue trekking from Frog Pond up the last mountain named "Doc Dai" to Viet Hai village (4 km), This is a small ancient village of local residents with about 100 families.
13.00pm Have lunch and take a rest at Viet Hai village. Experience fish massage your feet in cool stream flowing from Cat Ba primeval forest
14.00pm Free to explore the lives of people in the village, take bicycling 5km to Viet Hai harbor.
14.30pm Get on travel boat through Lan Ha Bay, stop at a floating home for kayaking to discover the beauty of Lan Ha Bay - The most beautiful bay of the world, enjoy a great time to immerse yourself in Lan Ha bay's clear blue water.
16.30pm Boat takes you back to Cai Beo wharf, you can visit Cai Beo Fishing floating village on the way back. Cai Beo was formed hundreds of years ago, associated with the process of ancient Cat Ba's residents moved from forest to the sea to find food from the ocean.
17.00pm Arrive Cai Beo wharf, car take you back Cat Ba town center. Finish the journey and see you again.
