Departing from Tokyo, this tour selects the most representative natural and cultural sites around Mt. Fuji. In the morning, visit Arakurayama Sengen Park to gaze upon the iconic view of Mt. Fuji and the Chureito Pagoda. Afterward, head to Lake Kawaguchiko Oishi Park to admire the tranquil beauty of Mt. Fuji reflected in the lake amidst the lakeside flowers.
In the afternoon, we have specially arranged a visit to the Suntory Hakushu Distillery & Whisky Museum, located in the heart of the forest. Known as the 'Distillery in the Forest,' you can explore the whisky history exhibits, brand culture, and exclusive merchandise area, and enjoy the refreshing flavors of Hakushu whisky at the tasting bar (at your own expense). This tour visits the museum area and does not include a factory tour or viewing of the production process.

Arakurayama Sengen Park: A superb vantage point for panoramic views of Mount Fuji, this newly popular tourist attraction is known as one of the "21 places photographers should visit before they die." It offers an excellent vantage point for viewing the entire mountain; climbing the 397 steps near the main hall allows you to capture both Mount Fuji and the surrounding cityscape in one shot.
Photographers and tourists from all over the world flock here to admire this view. Not only are the cherry blossoms in spring beautiful, but the lush greenery in summer, the red leaves in autumn, and the snowscapes in winter are also stunning. In addition to enjoying the magnificent view of Mount Fuji, visitors can also overlook the charming cityscape of Fujiyoshida.
Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine & Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine Torii: At the main approach of Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine stands a magnificent torii gate bearing the inscription "The First Mountain of the Three Kingdoms." The "Three Kingdoms" refers to Japan, China, and India, as ancient Japan believed the world consisted of these three nations. This torii gate is not only the entrance to the shrine but also the gateway to Mount Fuji.
Kawaguchiko Oishi Park: Every summer, the lavender in Oishi Park on the shores of Lake Kawaguchi blooms, like a purple velvet carpet draped over the park, creating a breathtaking scene that complements the view of Mount Fuji. In autumn, the kochia (kojisandra) in the park turns bright red, its fuzzy leaves particularly charming. This is also the venue for the Kawaguchiko Herb Festival. Suntory's Hakushu Distillery is located in Yamanashi Prefecture, surrounded by vast forests and nestled at the foot of the Southern Alps, where it continuously produces a rich variety of single malt whiskies. This forest-surrounded environment is exceptional, earning the distillery the nickname "Forest Distillery." In this unique natural setting, the Hakushu single malt whisky has been passed down through generations.
The distillery houses a whisky museum where you can learn about the culture and history of whisky. Feel free to choose and enjoy the experience according to your interests, including the tasting lounge (at your own expense), the whisky museum, the distillery gift shop, and the Forest Restaurant (first floor, reservations only).
As whisky inventory fluctuates, availability of a specific whisky may vary depending on the day. We appreciate your understanding. Even if it is available, it is limited to guests aged 20 and above, with a limit of one bottle per person per day.
