Product Info

This is EMELIA's original 'Ryukyu Pilates,' where you can experience both Okinawan culture and Pilates at once, all while being surrounded by live Sanshin music. We incorporate traditional Okinawan music and physical movements into Pilates, which emphasizes breathing, posture, and core strength, allowing you to move your body comfortably on the mat. The Sanshin is played live on the spot, not recorded. By moving while feeling the rhythm and tone of the Sanshin with your body, you can enjoy a deep sense of immersion different from regular Pilates. There are no difficult movements or intense exercise. Our instructors provide careful guidance tailored to each participant's physical condition and experience level, so those new to Pilates or those worried about exercise can participate with peace of mind. After the session, we provide a detox drink for you to enjoy after moving your body comfortably. Additionally, we will take photos of you during the experience, capturing your natural expressions and the moments spent surrounded by the sound of the Sanshin, and present the photo data to you. A special wellness experience where you don't just see Okinawan culture, but feel it with your body through sound and movement. Spend an Okinawa moment you can only taste here, one that will remain in your travel memories.
An experience where you feel the Sanshin with your body, rather than just listening to it
The Sanshin is not background music to create an atmosphere. The player's breath, the resonance of the strings, and the pauses in the music overlap with the instructor's words and movements, connecting music and body as one. Enjoy the unique atmosphere and deep immersion that only live performance can create.
Pilates born from Ryukyu culture and the wisdom of the body
Rather than just adding Okinawan culture as a superficial touch, we have fused the rhythm of the Sanshin and elements of traditional Okinawan physical expression with Pilates, which values breathing, posture, and core strength. This is an EMELIA-exclusive program that allows you to not just 'see' Okinawa, but to feel it deeply through your own body.
A new encounter with your body that stays with you long after your trip
Our goal is not just an experience that feels good in the moment. It is a time to notice your posture and the internal sensations of your body through movement and breathing, and to savor the changes as your mind and body become aligned. We deliver a memorable wellness experience that allows you to bring the sensations you gained in Okinawa back to your daily life.
