Kobe Fubuki Herbal Garden is Japan's largest herbal garden, cultivating approximately 200 species and 75,000 plants of flowers and herbs. Scattered along the hillside are 12 themed gardens, where flowers and herbs bloom in vibrant colors throughout the four seasons.
The Nunobiki Herb Garden Ropeway is the best way to enter the garden. Starting from Shin-Kobe Station, it ascends to the summit in about 10 minutes. As the ropeway slowly rises, views of Kobe city, the harbor, Nunobiki Falls, and the surrounding mountains gradually unfold, offering a breathtaking and romantic vista, earning it the title of "the most beautiful aerial walkway" among many travelers. You can also descend by ropeway or stroll along the forest trails, making it perfect for a relaxing day trip.
Mountain Top Observation Deck: From the observation deck, you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of Kobe from an altitude of about 400 meters.

Located in the waterfront area of Kobe, ATOA Aquarium is a theatrical aquarium that combines themes such as aquarium, digital art, and stage design.
The museum is designed with eight different zones, including fantastical and uniquely styled areas such as the Cave and the Fairy Forest. Among these zones is the "MIYABI" zone, which immerses visitors in the ever-changing seasons of Japan, like strolling through a Japanese garden. And then there's the "PLANETS" zone, centered around Japan's largest spherical water tank, surrounded by light-woven curtains and music. Both zones offer visitors a truly immersive and otherworldly experience, as if stepping into a movie or stage play.
American Park is a park located in Kobe Harbor, Chuo-ku, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. Built in 1987, the park is situated on reclaimed land between American Pier and Kobe Harbor Tower. Kobe landmarks such as the Kobe Maritime Museum are also located here. On the north side is a famous sculpture called "Fish Dance," and on the central lawn stands the "Hydrangea Bell," a clock tower built to commemorate the first Kobe Fashion Festival in 1990. The eastern section retains its original appearance after the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake.
Mt. Maya, located in the Rokko mountain range, is a 702-meter-high peak. From its summit, one can enjoy panoramic views of Awaji Island, Akashi Bridge, and Shodoshima Island. The night view from the Kikuseidai observation deck is particularly spectacular, considered one of Japan's three most famous night views.
Rokko Mountain Night View: Located near Kobe, Rokko Mountain is a designated Seto Inland Sea National Park and is a great place to enjoy the night view of Kobe. It is often referred to as one of the three best night views in Japan.
