Product Info

  • With people spending so much time indoors these days, we're hosting a new online live cajon-making workshop as a way to spend time meaningfully. Using the Zoom video conferencing system, participants will receive a meeting URL upon reservation. Simply access the URL to participate. This system can be used on smartphones, PCs, or tablets. This workshop will focus on creating a compact cajon perfect for elementary and junior high school students and women. It measures 36cm high, 25cm wide, and 23cm deep, with a side hole for two playing surfaces. It can be played with or without a snare drum, allowing you to enjoy the sounds of bongos and congas in addition to the standard snare and bass drum sounds. The materials used for the playing surface are 3mm thick plywood, the back is 4mm thick, and the body is 9mm thick MDF. Construction takes approximately 30 minutes, and you can test play it right away with the masking tape still attached. After the adhesive dries, you can paint it with your favorite designs and colors. Participation is ¥5,500 per cajon, including tax and shipping.
