Siena (120 minutes) - Siena can be described as the quintessential medieval city that once competed with Florence for dominance in Tuscany. In the city center, let's sit in Piazza del Campo, considered a work of art, enjoy the leisure, and experience the relaxed atmosphere of the Italian people.
Winery (90 minutes) - Tasting a variety of wines produced in the Chianti region, Tuscany's representative wine-producing area. Chianti is home to wines ranging from DOCG-rated wines made from Sangiovese, one of Italy's premier grape varieties, to "Super Tuscans," which made history by being the first to introduce French Bordeaux grape varieties and winemaking methods. (Interior tours are available during peak season but may be difficult during off-season.)
Cypress Road (30 minutes) - The cypress is the representative tree of the Tuscany region. The cypress trees planted along the road offer not only beautiful scenery but also served an excellent administrative function in the past by demarcating land. Tuscany, which transformed into a wealthy region through the Middle Ages and the Renaissance thanks to effective land management, has adorned even the roads of the plains with the beauty of its economic prosperity.
San Gimignano (60 minutes) San Gimignano, which built over 70 towers during the Middle Ages, is nicknamed the "City of Towers" as 12 well-preserved towers still remain today. Imagining the Middle Ages, you cannot miss tasting the national treasure-class gelato—selected as a winner in the gelato category of the Italian Living Arts Award (Maestro d'Arte e Mestiere)—at the foot of San Gimignano's towers.
