The Japan Automobile Museum opened in 1978 and was the first automobile museum in Japan. The museum collects various automobiles commonly seen in Japan and abroad in the 20th century. Of the approximately 800 cars in total, approximately 500 are on permanent display! The museum is divided into multiple areas according to manufacturers and types, including a variety of Japanese used commercial vehicles and Volkswagens. Here you can see cars, sports cars, etc. from all over the world, as well as rare vehicles that can only be seen here, and learn about the history of Japan's postwar reconstruction with the spread of automobiles.
