Find out more about the city’s history and importance as a powerhouse of trade in the Danube-Inn routes and in the Salt Route of Bavaria. Wasserburg was also the main harbor of Munich, only 50 km away.

Stroll through the city’s streets and admire its beauty. Marvel at the Rococo façade of the Kernhaus house and see the Gothic city hall. Pass by many churches as the Frauenkirche, the Pfarrkirche St. Jakob, and the St. Michael church and learn more about their history. Marvel at two towers, the Hungertum tower, and the Roter Turm tower and leave with a sense of wonder.
