Travel back in time to the 19th century and revisit New Orleans' dark and rich past, where carriages were the principal mode of transportation and the streets were filled with mystery. This spooky, nighttime carriage tour will take you through the French Quarter as you listen to licensed guides share plenty of interesting history, eerie ghost stories and some terrifying tales of murder. Although the tour is only one hour, you'll have the chance to see all the major landmarks in the French Quarter, also known as one of the most haunted places in the country!

Learn more about a few of the reported hauntings, and the legends and people behind them: Madame LaLaurie, New Orleans wealthy socialite and ruthless murderess; Marie Laveau, the legendary and powerful Voodoo Queen; or Muriel's Restaurant, famous for its high paranormal activity.

Reminders

  • Please refer to your voucher for final information regarding meeting points, pick-up locations, and pick-up time

  • Meeting point description: - The tour will begin and end at Jackson Square. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in(Jackson Square (located 700 Decatur Street, New Orleans, LA 70116))

  • This is a 1-hour group carriage tour with small groups exceeding no more than 8 passengers per carriage

  • Tours operate in rain or shine. All carriages have tops, and customers are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather

  • Due to COVID 19 blankets will not be provided, you may bring your own if you wish

  • Social distancing measures have been put in place. Carriages are sanitized twice a day and wiped with disinfectant wipes between each tour

  • Tour provider does not offer hotel pick-up or drop-off services

  • Tickets are non-refundable, except for in case of extreme weather. There are no refunds or reschedules for missed tour appointments (missed tour appointment is five minutes past scheduled time)
