The campsite is located in Ren'ai Township, Nantou, right in the heart of the Qingjing Farm area. It is just a 5 to 10-minute walk to the Visitor Center and Swiss Garden shopping area.
At an altitude of 1,700 meters, you are surrounded by mountains in a serene environment, with views of Qilai Mountain and the Hehuan Mountain range.
The campsite is small and exquisite, featuring five tents in the LOHAS area and two tents in the exclusive area, making it easy to book the entire area for a private and relaxing space.

(1) Parking: One parking space per tent (if you need more than one space, please indicate in the order remarks). If both areas of the campsite are fully booked on the day, additional vehicles will need to find alternative parking.
(2) LOHAS Area Public Bathrooms: Shower rooms, gender-separated toilets, 2 family bathrooms (all with hot/cold water), shampoo, body wash, hand soap, toilet paper, hair dryers, cotton swabs, dental floss picks, disposable earplugs, and baby bathtubs.
Villa Exclusive Area Public Bathrooms: 2 separate dry and wet bathrooms (including 2 showers, 2 sinks, 2 toilets), 2 urinals, baby bathtub, hair dryer, shampoo, body wash, hand soap, and toilet paper.
(3) Dining: Refrigerator, hot/warm/cold water dispenser, shared condiments (oil, salt).

Located in Qingjing, Nantou, 'Donato Camping Ground' sits at an altitude of approximately 1,700 meters. It is just a 5-10 minute walk or a 2-minute drive from the Qingjing Tourist Service Center and Swiss Garden, offering a tranquil yet highly convenient environment. The campsite boasts spectacular mountain views, overlooking the Qilai and Hehuan mountain ranges. Facing east, you can enjoy a stunning sunrise right outside your tent on clear mornings, and gaze at the brilliant starry sky at night. Staying at Donato Camping Ground allows you to briefly step away from your busy life, disconnect from 3C devices, return to nature, and recharge your energy.

The first area, 'LOHAS Area', officially opened in July 2020. It features five tents in total and can accommodate up to 20 guests.

The second area, 'VILLA Exclusive Area', officially opened in July 2023. This area features only two tents and can accommodate 8 guests. It is an exclusive and completely independent leisure space, perfect for those who prefer not to be disturbed. The area includes two bell tents. (Each tent contains two standard double beds, accommodating up to 8 guests. For additional guests, please refer to the extra person fee policy.) It features an independent cooking area, independent dry and wet separated bathroom area, independent kitchen space, independent barbecue area (including one American-style grill), and an independent sofa area in front of the tents.

Purchase Notice

If there are force majeure factors such as typhoons, earthquakes, natural disasters, etc. on the day of camping, the reservation can be kept for 6 months. During this period, the accommodation can be rescheduled, or other fees will be refunded after deducting a handling fee of NT$100/account. For those who choose to postpone admission and complete the extension procedures, the postponement regulations for newly opened accounts shall be handled in accordance with the postponement regulations of the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transport.
The definition of the time affected by a typhoon is based on the time when the Central Weather Bureau issues a "land typhoon warning" for Taiwan's main island. The Central Meteorological Bureau issued a "land typhoon warning" for Taiwan's main island "the day before" and "the day" of the camping date, and we are unable to stay in accordance with government regulations.
The check-in time is from 15:00 to 17:00 pm. If the check-in time exceeds the specified check-in time, please indicate the estimated arrival time in the order notes.
The check-out time is 11:00 am the next day. Please complete the return point of the borrowed equipment with the camp owner before 10:30 am. If you need to delay the refund, a fee of NT$500/account per hour will be charged. Please be informed.
The location of the tent is arranged by the on-site staff, and it is not possible to specify the location.
When checking in, the camp owner will charge a "camping deposit" of NT$1,000 per account for the LOHAS area and NT$3,000 for the Villa exclusive area in the second area. When checking out the next day, after confirming that all equipment is not damaged and no camp regulations are violated, the camp entry deposit will be fully refunded. If there is any damage, you will need to pay compensation according to the price.
Please enter the number of guests in the order notes. Please check in each room according to the number of guests at the time of reservation. Visitors without reservations are not allowed to enter the camp.
Due to the limited space in the tent, it can only sleep up to 4 adults and cannot accommodate 5 or more adults in one tent. The extra person service without extra bed is only open to children under elementary school (inclusive). Elementary school students will be charged a cleaning fee of NT$500/person, which must be paid in cash when checking in; children under 3 years old are free of charge. If necessary, please indicate the number of children in the order.
In response to environmental protection, disposable personal toiletries such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, towels, bath towels, etc. are not provided.
Donado does not provide credit card service. If there are any price increases, please settle all fees when registering to enter the camp.
Please bring your own when entering the camp: catering ingredients, personal tableware, toiletries, warm clothes, personal anti-mosquito supplies or medical drugs.
Currently, only guests in the "private area" are allowed to bring pets. General travelers are not allowed to bring pets. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. If it is a private area experience, in order to maintain the quality of camping, a cleaning fee of NT$500 per pet will be charged, and pet conventions must be followed.
If a non-reserved person brings a pet to the camp on the day of check-in, he/she will need to pay a pet admission fee of NT$800 per pet. Please note that if you bring a pet, please make a note in the order when placing an order, otherwise check-in will be refused on site.
Currently, barbecues over fires are only open to residents in the "private area". Due to the small hinterland of the camp, there is only one place suitable for placing barbecue utensils over fires. Those who are not in the private area can only use the "grill plate" that can be placed on the cassette stove to cook meat (not the electric griddle).
Donado's equipment-free camping experience does not include meals, and the camp site does not provide food ordering services. Please be sure to purchase ingredients in advance before going up the mountain. It is recommended to purchase ingredients in Puli Town.
