- Shomon Island is located at the northern tip of Xiyu and covers an area of only 0.5 square kilometers. It is connected to the main island by an arched bridge, locally known as the 'McDonald's Bridge.' The geological and topographical landscape of Shomon Island is a microcosm of the Penghu Islands and is known as a 'living geological classroom.' The most unique sea-eroded landform is the 'Whale Cave' located in the north of the island. Originally a basalt sea cliff, continuous sea erosion eventually carved through the basalt to form a sea arch that looks like a whale stranded on the beach. Standing inside the cave, you can listen to the soul-stirring roar of the waves, which is truly refreshing and invigorating. Through the perspective of SUP on the sea, enjoy the beaches, waves, coral reefs, and the best views of the basalt along the way; you can also quietly watch the sunset on the sea and feel the beauty of the afterglow.

Located on Shomon Island, the Whale Cave is one of the main attractions along the northern loop route. However, traditional land-based tours cannot fully capture the most fascinating geological landscapes of Penghu, as the geology and topography of Shomon Island are a microcosm of the Penghu archipelago, often called a 'living geological classroom.' Using the most primitive and non-polluting watercraft, we offer a sea-level perspective to explore the geology of the Penghu islands. Immerse yourself in the shimmering sunset glow with a wandering heart, adding a truly amazing highlight to your travels!

Purchase Notice
- Open water conditions vary, so you need to wear a life jacket at all times and follow the instructions of the instructor.
- You will get wet during the experience, so be sure to bring a change of clothes.
- In order to cooperate with environmental protection and plastic reduction, we provide drinking water, please bring your own containers.
- The sun is shining in Penghu in summer, so please protect yourself. In order to avoid damaging the coral reef ecology, it is recommended not to apply sunscreen with physical sun protection.
- If your personal constitution is prone to seasickness, please bring your own seasickness medicine.
- If you are unable to complete the itinerary due to personal factors (physical condition, etc.) during the activity, the fee for the unfinished activity will be regarded as a waiver and cannot be refunded.
- Photos taken during the event will be published on Facebook and IG. Participants must agree to have their portraits used in the event. Our company has the right to use them free of charge. If it is inconvenient to upload, please inform us.
- Event photos will be shared as photo links within 2 days after the event. Please download and use them yourself.

Reminders
In case of delays caused by traffic, weather, or other force majeure factors resulting in the cancellation of some itinerary attractions, please contact customer service. We will arrange a partial refund for you
A message will be sent the day before the experience to inform you of the meeting time, location and precautions. Please pay attention to the message on your mobile phone.
Based on the sea conditions and weather conditions of the day, the instructor will give priority to safety and will inform you of changes to the itinerary or cancellation at 20:00 the day before the experience.
If canceled due to weather conditions, a full refund will be issued.

- Cancellations 3 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–2 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once your refund request is confirmed, KKday will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 15 days. The actual refund timing depends on your card-issuing bank’s policy.
