• Dadaocheng Wharf Tea House
  Dadaocheng was once a gateway for Taiwan to the international stage. Through the export trade of tea and camphor, modern Western civilization and traditional Han culture sparked brilliant interactions along the banks of the Tamsui River. Whether it was the competitive performances of modern new dramas or local opera troupes, or the rivalry between coffee salons and tea-tasting culture, Dadaocheng was in full swing during the first half of the 20th century. The 'Sin Hong Choon Tea House,' which witnessed this prosperity, was built in 1934. It was the founding home of tea merchant Wang Lian-he, who moved to Taiwan from Anxi, Fujian, with his family. This building, which blends Chinese and Western features from the Japanese colonial period, is one of the few well-preserved mixed-use residential and commercial buildings in Taipei City.
  
  

• Chen Tian-lai Residence
  Located at No. 73 Guide Street, the Chen Tian-lai Residence was formerly known as 'Jin-Ji Tea House.' This 3-story building, built in 1920, features a pseudo-Baroque style. The first floor served as a trading space, the second floor as a reception area for tea merchants, and the third floor as a residence. Its appearance is grand and European-style. The building is divided into a central main body and two side towers. The main body features decorations such as hanging flowers and brackets, as well as classical columns and large arcades, exuding a romantic atmosphere. In the past, it was a reception house where Dadaocheng tea merchants would gather to taste tea and overlook the Tamsui River wharf.
  
  
  
• Li Lin-qiu Residence
  Mr. Li Lin-qiu was the lyricist for many famous Taiwanese songs such as 'Longing for the Spring Breeze' and 'Four Seasons Red.' He is an important representative figure in the history of Taiwanese popular music, and his creations are precious intangible cultural assets. As a celebrity residence, this building demonstrates its historical and artistic value.
  
  
  
• Koo Residence
  Located at No. 9, Lane 303, Guisui Street, the Koo Family Salt Hall was built in 1910 by Koo Hsien-jung, the father of former Straits Exchange Foundation Chairman Koo Chen-fu. Because the Koo family was in the salt business at the time, this grand mansion was always called the 'Salt Hall.' The building is quite distinctive, featuring a late Western Renaissance style with an arcade in the front. The exterior is covered in pale yellow tiles, and it features elegant arched windows and glazed railings. The intricate medals and relief decorations on the central pediment of the facade reflect the trend of Western influence during that era, representing the home of a wealthy family at the time.
  
  
  
• Li Chun-sheng Memorial Church
  The famous Dadaocheng wealthy merchant Li Chun-sheng was a legendary figure in Dadaocheng who made his fortune as a compradore for foreign firms. He helped British merchants manage the production and sales of tea in northern Taiwan with great success, earning him the title 'Father of Taiwanese Tea.' He was a pioneer in exporting Taiwanese tea to Europe and America. Because he was a Christian and a well-known local wealthy merchant, he often stepped forward to mediate and resolve disputes between foreign merchants and local residents, ensuring successful outcomes. He was also known for his generosity and dedication to public welfare, enjoying a high reputation among the people. This 2-story building is located on Guide Street, an area where foreigners lived during the late Qing Dynasty. With wealthy merchants and foreign firms gathered here, it was the most prosperous street in Dadaocheng.
  
  
  
• Zhuang Xie-fa Grocery Store & Gangting Culture Lecture Hall
  'Dadaocheng Qianqiu Street Shop House - Zhuang Xie-fa' is the first grocery store in Taipei City to be designated as a historic site. Guide Street was called Qianqiu Street during the Qing Dynasty and was the earliest and most prosperous street of Western-style buildings in Taipei. The 'Zhuang Xie-fa Grocery Store' at the intersection of Guide Street and Lane 86, Xining North Road, was renovated after being closed for over 20 years to restore the appearance of a traditional 'Gan-a-dian' (grocery store) from 60 years ago. Under the planning of Zhuang Yong-ming, it became the 'Zhuang Xie-fa Gangting Culture Lecture Hall,' continuing to shine.
  
  
  
• Zhongxiao Bridge
  Zhongxiao Bridge is a bridge over the Tamsui River in northern Taiwan. Opened on May 1, 1982, it is one of the important connecting passages within the Taipei Basin and is also part of Provincial Highway 1. The bridge starts from Chong'an Street in Sanchong District, New Taipei City, crosses the Tamsui River, and connects to the intersection of Zhongxiao West Road and Xining North and South Roads in Datong and Wanhua Districts, Taipei City.
  
  
  
• Taipei Bridge
  Taipei Bridge is a bridge over the Tamsui River in northern Taiwan, connecting Datong District, Taipei City, and Sanchong District, New Taipei City. Completed in 1889, it was originally a bridge made of wood and iron, serving as a route for trains. At that time, the end of the Taipei Bridge near the current Taipei City side was a swing bridge that could be opened to allow ships traveling on the Tamsui River to pass through.
  
  
  
• Chongyang Bridge
  Chongyang Bridge, which connects Sanchong and Shilin, Taipei, was completed in December 1990 at a cost of over 1.9 billion. The main bridge is 72 meters high. Initially, it had a red bridge body with silver steel cables, spanning the Tamsui River, and was known for its beauty. To match the night lighting, the main bridge tower was repainted in lily white, becoming a pure touch under the blue sky.
  
  
  
• Shezi Island Tip
  As the name suggests, Shezi Island Tip Park is located at the tip of the island where the Keelung River and the Tamsui River meet. Although it covers only 1 hectare, it is well worth a visit! This island tip is a beach area filled in by the Taipei City Government using dredged soil from the Keelung River. The beach area is covered with green grass and has stone paths and wooden boardwalks, making it convenient for the public to access the viewing platform.
  
  
  
• Guandu Wharf
  Guandu was originally called 'Gandu Men.' Because it is backed by Guanyin Mountain and Datun Mountain and faces the Tamsui River, it became a port with a strategic location. In the early days, ancestors entered Taiwan through Guandu Wharf to settle and cultivate northern Taiwan, so Guandu was developed very early. Later, due to the siltation of the two river mouths (Keelung River and Tamsui River), water transport gradually declined. Guandu Wharf is located next to Guandu Nature Park and Guandu Temple. During holidays or at night, visitors can be seen strolling and resting around Guandu Wharf. Many cyclists also come from Bali via Guandu Bridge or from Tamsui. The scenery along the way is beautiful, making it an excellent place for sightseeing. 
  
  
  
• Guandu Bridge
  The 'Guandu Bridge' is a vital transportation hub connecting Bali District in New Taipei City and Guandu in Beitou District, Taipei City. Its vibrant red exterior makes it a major local landmark, and it features a pedestrian walkway where visitors can enjoy the scenery along the Tamsui River. The bridge's night lighting illuminates the beauty of the Tamsui and Bali coastlines after dark, resembling twinkling stars on the surface of the Tamsui River. • Mangrove Riverside
  Spanning 76 hectares from Zhuwei to Ganzhen, this pure forest of Kandelia obovata is the northernmost and largest of its kind in the world. Mangroves are named for their reddish bark and wood, and they primarily grow in tropical and subtropical estuaries and coastal areas. The mangroves in this area consist entirely of Kandelia obovata, a viviparous evergreen tree. The name 'Kandelia obovata' (known as 'water brush' in Chinese) comes from its viviparous seedlings, which resemble the barrel of a calligraphy brush.
  
  
  
• Tamsui Ferry Pier
  Tamsui, formerly known as Hobe, is the lifeblood of Bali and refers to fishing facilities at the end of a river. The Tamsui Ferry Pier is located on the right bank of the Tamsui River estuary and is a significant settlement in the history of Northern Taiwan's development. When the Portuguese occupied Taiwan, they marveled at Tamsui as the origin of Formosa. Strolling and relaxing by the Tamsui Ferry Pier at dusk, you can see the sunset casting its glow on the river, creating shimmering waves. Scattered boats move slowly across the water, while Mount Guanyin in the distance dominates the view like a magnificent landscape painting. Taking a ferry from here to Bali or Fisherman's Wharf is quick and convenient, and viewing the Tamsui riverbank and the distant Guandu Bridge from the boat offers a unique perspective.
